About Us
Currently our Guild has more than 30 members who range from novice to experienced potters. Most members maintain a working studio but can make use of the resources at the Guild’s studio - wheels, kilns, special equipment, an extensive library (200 titles related to the ceramic arts and 6 current periodicals) and can also attend workshops.
The Guild is a member of Fusion, The Ontario Clay and Glass Association. Members participate in juried shows, e.g., Fusion,
1001 Pots and have their work featured in local galleries and shops, e.g., Canadian Guild of Crafts.

Outreach
The Guild’s community involvement (outreach focus) includes two annual sales with demonstrations and displays by Guild members. Part of the Spring Sale proceeds are donated to NOVA Montréal (formerly VON), and to the Whiteside Taylor Centre.
The Guild participates in community events such as the ‘Empty Bowls’ project. In January 2008, the Guild organized its first ‘bowl-a-thon’ in the studio - over 100 bowls were made
as part of the Guild members’ continuing donation to raise funds for local food banks.
